Welcome to the ABC Shop Online! The instructions below provide a guide to help you with placing your first order.
To place your first order with us, simply browse or search our catalogue for the product(s) you wish to purchase and click the "Add to Cart" button on the product page(s). You can search for products using the 'Search ABC Shop' box located at the top of the store page.
When you have finished making your selection, click on the "Pay Securely Now" button in the shopping cart, which will take you to the three easy steps of the check out:
- Delivery/Billing Details
- Payment Details
Please be advised that when an order is placed with the ABC Shop Online we will not process the payment until it is ready for dispatch. Our system will however process a $1 pre-authorisation check for credit card orders, to verify that the payment details have been entered correctly. This will appear as a pending transaction in your account, however please be assured that this is not a charge and it will drop off your account within a week of placing your order.
As a first time shopper to our web site, you will need to register your details with us (name, email address, mailing address, and contact phone number). You can change your details in the 'My Account' section of the ABC Shop Online.
Ordering ABC products online is designed to be as simple as possible while allowing maximum security and privacy for all your details. Your credit card details will not be stored on our server and will be transmitted to us only in encrypted form.
The encryption technologies we use are SSL and PGP. For more information on security and privacy issues please click here.
If you forget your password please click the 'Forgot Your Password' link on the sign in page, and we will send you an email containing a link that will allow you to reset your password. World TV Standards & DVD
Television standards differ throughout the world. Australia employs the PAL system in video production and television transmission (as opposed to NTSC prevalent in the United States). Please ensure you are able to play PAL standard video before placing your order. Click here to view World Television Standards.
DVDs have a built in decryption system and are coded for specific regions throughout the World. Each disc may only be able to be played on a DVD player purchased from the same region. Australia is classified as Region 4, so a DVD disc purchased at the ABC Shop Online may not work in the United States unless played on a multi-region, or region-free DVD player. Other information concerning the ABC, including programming, can be found on the ABC Online Contacts Page.
